China Hopson (*1987) is a photographer based in Hannover, Germany.
Originally trained in a portrait studio, she later moved from the south to the north of Germany to study Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover. With a calm and intuitive perspective, her work explores themes of society, identity and human connection. She is particularly drawn to stories within the Black community and maintains a strong connection to the United States.
